I’ll be attending the metal detectors get to together next weekend and was wondering if there is some place on the web to see details of the battle.
I hope to arrive in town on Thursday to learn more about the city and the battle areas.

I’m on the Board of Directors of our Historical Society, we maintain an old college complex so I know how much work it takes to keep a museum going.

During the Civil War 92 male students and the college president enlisted and became known as the “Schoolboy Company” . 27 were killed or died.

Thank you for the inquiry. Our hotel rates do vary due to seasonal & crowd expectations. Some of our hotels change rates on June 1st for the season. In addition, rates may vary depending upon when the hotel was remodeled and what amenities (two queen beds, a king bed, Jacuzzi, etc.) are available. I would recommend calling each hotel to get the best rates for your family and K-9 needs. I will send a document to your personal e-mail with the most current rates that I have with a listing of each hotel with phone number. But again, I remind you to consider that sometimes rooms at the advertised rate may have been booked.

I am a Police K-9 Officer and I well be in your area May 28 thru June 1, attending a K-9 workshop that is hosted by the American working Dog council.
