Carthage Historic Preservation invites the community to enjoy a classic Lobster Boil on the lawn of the Historic Phelps House on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The 5th annual event raises funds to preserve the oldest house in Carthage, the Sweet House.
The meal features Maine Lobster, Alaskan Crab Legs, and Gulf Shrimp with vinaigrette coleslaw, corn on the cob, roasted potatoes, garlic bread, iced tea & lemonade, and concluding with a buffet selection of homemade desserts. Argentina-style grilled flank steak available for those who do not eat seafood. Continue to relax with live music from Dr. G and the Tall man and a cash bar from Cherry’s.
Tickets are available for $65 per person from Mother Road Coffee, Carthage Chamber of Commerce, online at carthagehistoricpreservation.org, and by phone 417-358-1776.
